Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise was an American actress, singer, and writer, best known in the role of Ginger Grant from the TV show Gilligan's Island. The actress began her career in stage shows during the 1950s beginning at the age of Two's Company a musical by Bettle Davis. Thereafter she acted in numerous Broadway productions before making it huge in the national theater area with Li'l abner's in 1957. In the same year, she released Her first album, It's the Right Time to Tina. Louise made her foray into Hollywood playing Griselda Walden from God's Big Acre a drama film released 1958.The film received a crow's-foot of acclaim as well as Louise received the Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the Year category. At the time, she joined the Actors Studio in New York and became acquainted with Lee Strasberg as his student. She was able to land her next notable role when CBS appointed her as Ginger Grant. Louise managed to mix her profession effectively with a variety of roles between Broadway television and Hollywood performing somber characters contrasted to her perception of glamour-doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. She also played SG-1 on the show and Helen Magnus on Sanctuary. Since her debut, she's become a well-known director for popular television shows such as Supernatural as well as The 100. The family she was born into moved away from Essex to Toronto and she lived there for growing up and in adolescence. Then she settled in Vancouver after she was selected for the role of Samantha Carter.
